There are many local street markets. San Miguel de Salinas holds theirs on Wednesdays and Torreveija on Fridays (9am to 2pm). Torreveija also has a craft market on Saturdays and Sundays. Murcia Airport is approx. 25km down the AP7 motorway. Alicante Airport is approx. 50km (also an easy motorway drive along the A7 then AP7). Many cheap flights available from easy jet, Thomson fly, Monarch and Ryanair.
